Meet our Teachers!
At Tecun Uman, we only work with the most professional and experienced teachers.
Our staff of 30 teachers has been with our school for many years.
The average experience of our teachers is 17 years, and we have 14 teachers with over 20 years of experience!
At Tecun Uman, our teachers are career professionals, fully trained and university educated. Other schools
often employ teachers with no certification, but every one of our teachers has graduated from a
Guatemalan university with a certificate in teaching Spanish as a Second Language.
Our staff has been carefully selected based on their educational training, experience in teaching Spanish,
and their qualities of friendliness, kindness, and patience. We believe there should be a good
working-relationship between our teachers and our students, so if at any time a student does
not feel comfortable with a particular teacher, there is no problem in changing.
